VPN Access to Trifork's Network

When being outside the Trifork network you have different options to access the network over VPN. When connected to Trifork VPN all Trifork systems will be available (Overview Trifork systems).

The recommended way (Linux, Mac or Windows)

The recommended method is using SSL-VPN with the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. This client works on all platforms and uses a guided installer from a web browser.

Installation (one-time process):

1. Open a web browser.
2. Go to the address https://vpn.trifork.com/.
3. Type in your Trifork username and password.
4. Type in the Trifork Multifactor Passcode received on your mobile.
5. Follow the instructions for Download & Install.

Connection:

1. Locate the "Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client" on your Start Menu or Launchpad and start it.
2. Enter the endpoint of your choice (see below - e.g. vpn.trifork.com/trifork) or select an entry from the drop-down list and connect.
3. Type in your Trifork username and password.
4. Type in the Trifork Multifactor Passcode received on your mobile.
5. You are now connected (hopefully).

VPN on smartphone or tablet

1. Download Cisco Anyconnect from App Store or Google Play.
2. Open Anyconnect and accept the VPN software enable.
3. Click on "Connections" and choose "Add VPN connection".
4. In "Server Address" type vpn.trifork.com and click "OK" and "Save".
5. Go back to "Home" and click on the switch "AnyConnect VPN"
6. Type in your Trifork user credentials and click "Connect".
7. Type in the Trifork Multifactor Passcode received on your mobile.
8. You're now connected.
