Welcome e-mail
When your Trifork login has been created you will receive an welcome e-mail containing your username.
Follow the instructions in the e-mail to update your password.
Mobile phone number
It's important that your current mobile phone number is associated with your account. See below how to "Maintain your account".
The mobile phone number will be used when resetting your account and as passcode receiver in all systems using Trifork MFA.
Reset password
If your password has expired or you have forgotten your password you can reset it using https://login.trifork.com
The personal passcode is the 6 last digits in your mobile phone number.
If you type in a wrong personal passcode 5 times you will be locked out for 15 minutes.
Change your password
Every 6 months you will be reminded to change your password. This reminder will be sent to you as an e-mail.
The reminder will tell you to go to https://login.trifork.com to update your password.
Password Policy
- The maximum password age is 180
- The minimum password length is 8
- No. of Passwords Remembered is 24
Complexity requirements:
- Passwords cannot contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters.
- Passwords must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
- English uppercase characters (A through Z).
- English lowercase characters (a through z).
- Base 10 digits (0 through 9).
- Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %).
Lockout Policy
- Account Lockout Duration: 10 min.
- Account Lockout Threshold: 20 times
- Reset Account Lock-out Counter After: 10 min.
Maintain your account
If you have an e-mail account associated with your Trifork Login you can access your account profile from Outlook Web Access.
Use https://webmail.trifork.com/ecp and go to Account → Edit information...
From here you can change mobile phone number, name, address etc.
If you don't have an Trifork e-mail please send a change request to IT First Line.
Trifork MFA
Trifork MFA is a two-factor login mechanism currently used in the following systems:
- Trifork Remote Access VPN
When logging in to a MFA protected system you will in addition to supplying username and password also be prompted for a passcode.
This passcode will be sent as a text message (SMS) to the mobile phone number associated with your account.
We recommend using the Entrust Identity App to avoid issues receiving text messages on your phone:
